After a
lot of sanding, scraping and grinding, we eventually decided to
remove the whole bottom because of extensive dry
rot.
|
|
|
|
Now that the
old bottom is off, we will replace it with new 1/2"
plywood.

|
A new rudder blade was
made from scrap plywood. Note the lead ballast.
